Creating an inclusive, accessible playground takes planning, partnership, and community support. Here’s how we’re turning our vision into reality.
Initial vendor quotes were obtained as we began exploring options to improve playground surfacing and create a more accessible play space.
Through grants, sponsorships, donations, and community fundraising, we’re working toward our $625,000 goal to bring the revitalized playground to life.
A CBE playground assessment identified equipment nearing the end of its lifespan. This expanded the project from a surfacing upgrade to a broader playground revitalization.
Updated vendor quotes reflect the expanded project, including recycled rubber surfacing and replacement of selected aging equipment.
Students, families, staff, and community members are invited to share their ideas and help shape an inclusive playground that reflects our community’s needs.
We expect to select our playground vendor, moving the project from planning toward implementation.

Community input and vendor expertise will come together to finalize the playground design and project scope, while we launch a major fundraising push to help bring the vision to life.
We’ll unveil the final design, share how community input shaped the project, and give families an opportunity to see what’s ahead. Fundraising will continue through grants, sponsorships, donations, and community initiatives as we work toward our $625,000 goal and prepare for construction.
Once school is out for summer, construction is expected to begin on the new surfacing and replacement playground equipment.
We’ll celebrate the opening of a safer, more accessible playground where children of all abilities can play, connect, and thrive.
